Why Do Cars Get Dusty?

WashnGlossDust is everywhere, it floats in the air, it is blown by the wind, it settles on the road and on every surface, it is unavoidable. Unless you keep your car hermetically covered and in a dust-proof room, you cannot prevent dust from settling on your car, but fortunately, there are many ways to reduce the amount of dust that settles on your car.

Here is how:

  • Wash the car regularly – give your car a good wash or take it to Wash n Gloss, a professional car wash, at least once a month to prevent the accumulation of a thick layer of dust and grime on your car;
  • Use dust-repellent products – it is a good idea to wax the car each time you wash it – waxing makes the surface of the car body more even and the shinier the surface, the less dust can settle on it. You can also try various sealants – there are lots of different products available on the market, so it may take some time to find the one that really works for you. Whatever wax, polish or sealant you try, make sure you apply the product with a soft microfiber cloth to avoid scratching the surface of the coating.
